Salary: £13.50phrHoliday PayWorking Hours: Part Time 8.30am – 1.30pmMonday – Friday - 25hoursJob Summary:
The Credit Controller is responsible for managing the credit control process, ensuring that payments are collected in a timely manner, and maintaining accurate financial records. The role involves communicating with clients regarding outstanding invoices and resolving any payment issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage the credit control process to minimize overdue accounts.
- Review and assess credit applications and establish credit limits for new and existing customers.
- Prepare and send out invoices and statements to clients.
- Follow up on outstanding payments via phone, email, or written correspondence.
- Negotiate payment terms and arrangements with clients.
- Maintain accurate records of all communications and transactions.
- Collaborate with the sales and finance teams to resolve disputes and discrepancies.
- Conduct regular credit reviews and risk assessments of clients.
- Prepare reports on outstanding debts and cash flow forecasts for management.
- Assist in the preparation of financial audits and year-end closing processes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of credit control processes and best practices.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.

Working Conditions:
