Senior Software Engineer (AI Experience)

I’m currently recruiting for a Senior Software Engineer ( AI Experience) opportunity based in London (hybrid, 3 days onsite per week) on an inside IR35 contract. The role is focused on delivering innovative features for an internal AI Assistant platform, working across the full software lifecycle from requirements and backlog refinement through to design, development, deployment and production support. Looking for someone who has a strong software engineering background, Key experience we're looking for: Strong backend development with PythonFront-end experience with React (Material UI/Bootstrap preferred)Cloud expertise across AWS and AzureExperience building scalable, resilient distributed systemsCI/CD knowledge (GitHub Actions, ADO Pipelines, Octopus Deploy)Agile delivery, stakeholder engagement and backlog refinementTesting best practices and TDD Ideal candidate will also have an experience in AI technologies including LLMs, RAG, Agent frameworks and chat-based applications, alongside experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Playwright or Selenium. The successful candidate will work closely with Product, Engineering and Delivery teams to shape and deliver AI-powered solutions while improving reliability, observability and automation across a complex cloud environment.
