Job Overview
This role involves operating heavy‑duty forklifts to move, load, and unload structural steel materials within an outdoor yard. The driver is responsible for safely handling long, oversized, and irregular steel section. Daily tasks include inspecting equipment, operation of counterbalance forklifts up to 5t, labouring and cleaning of welded steel on occasion. The ideal candidate has experience with forklifts in an industrial or steel‑handling setting, strong spatial awareness, and a commitment to maintaining a clean, organised, and hazard‑free workspace.
Please note this is not a warehouse pallet job, steel beams can be up to 22m in length and weigh up to 5t per item so experience of abnormal lifting is required.
Pay to be discussed based on competence.

Mon-Thu 8-4:30
Fri 8-2:30
