Key Responsibilities:
In this varied and hands-on role, you'll be responsible for:
Scheduling and allocating work for field and workshop engineers
Planning and coordinating all PPM and statutory inspections
Logging, prioritising, and managing breakdowns and defect reports
Ordering, tracking, and managing spare parts from suppliers
Keeping the hire desk and customers updated on repair progress and downtime
Maintaining accurate service, maintenance, and compliance records
Ensuring all work meets Health & Safety and industry standards
Processing job sheets, checking labour hours, and handling service invoices
What we're looking for:
To succeed as a Service Administrator, you'll ideally bring:
A background in service environments such as plant, agriculture, powered access, construction, forklifts, automotive, or HGV
Previous experience in an Administrator or service coordination role
Strong organisational skills and confidence managing multiple priorities
Clear communication skills with engineers, suppliers, and customers
A good understanding of service workflows and technical admin processes
