Description
• Accurately measure and price works based on contract drawings, specifications, and Bills of Quantities
• Manage all post-contract quantity surveying functions, including interim and final payments, variations, commercial and contractual correspondence, cash flows, and claims
• Provide advice on contractual and commercial matters
• Ensure the completeness, accuracy, and validity of all contractual requirements
• Advise on contractor resource allocation
• Audit and verify contractor payment applications
• Ensure timely submission and completeness of all valuations
• Check, verify, and record measurements of work completed
• Prepare and evaluate variations and dayworks
• Monitor and update the final cost estimates of contracts
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date expenditure records
• Review, negotiate, and prepare claim settlements
• Coordinate, supervise, and monitor the activities of the project QS team
• Prepare financial statements and input for monthly reports
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience on large infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of post-contract administration
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and logically with both management and staff
