Part Time Bookkeeper - self employed
Our client is a well established and family-owned business with fifteen staff. They now have a rare opening for an experienced Accountant / Bookkeeper to join their team on a Part Time basis. You will be required to work one day per week (Friday) typically from 9am to 4pm. This is an office based role, which is in the Leatherhead / Bookham / Effingham area.
You will report to the Directors and join a professional and well motivated team. This is a sole charge role and will suit an experienced and self motivated Accountant with a good knowledge of QuickBooks. This is a key role for the company as you will control all aspects of the days to day finances of the company, including Bookkeeping, Management Reporting, Payroll and Banking duties.
Our client is keen to hear from self-employed individuals, who can offer long term commitment. They offer a competitive hours rate of £25 to £35 per hour.
Main duties:
• Overseeing all aspects of the day to day finances of the company using QuickBooks
• Processing the weekly Payroll
• Controlling Sales and Purchase Ledgers
• Bank reconciliations
• CIS declarations, payments and monitoring
• Reconciling credit cards and staff expenses
• Monthly reporting and management accounts
• Preparation of year end accounts and liaising with HMRC.
Applications are welcome from ACA, ACCA , CIMA or AAT Qualified Accountants as well as Qualified by Experience (QBE) Accountants / Bookkeepers. You must be available to work Fridays and be happy to be office based and have previous experience of working with QuickBooks.
