Machine Operator – Twilight Shift
Location: Barnsley
We are currently seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join a small, friendly manufacturing business in Barnsley due to continued expansion. This role is ideal for someone with a background in manual machine operation and a strong work ethic.
Details and Benefits:
• £14.49ph (negotiable depending on experience)
• Monday to Thursday, 5pm – 3:30am (long weekends!)
• Permanent contract available after 12 weeks
• Work for a well-established and growing company
Duties include:
• Manufacturing product in a fast-paced production environment
• Machine setting and operating (automated/manual saws, CNC and manual routers)
• Feeding, assembling, polishing, crimping, welding, etching, grinding
• Producing final products to a high standard
• Maintaining general housekeeping and performing various duties as needed
Skills required:
• Minimum 2 years of manual machine operating experience
• Numerate and literate
• Physically fit with experience in manual roles
• Ability to work under own initiative and meet deadlines
• High attention to detail and quality
• Team player with a hardworking and dedicated attitude
