Junior Accountant (Zoho) – UAE Experience

Description
We are looking for a Junior Accountant with UAE experience and strong working knowledge of Zoho (Zoho Books / Zoho Invoice). The ideal candidate will support daily accounting operations, maintain accurate records, and assist in reporting and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain daily accounting entries in Zoho Books (sales, purchases, expenses, journals)
• Prepare and issue invoices, quotations, and receipts; follow up on payments
• Manage Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable and supplier/customer reconciliations
• Perform bank reconciliations and petty cash control
• Assist in VAT documentation and ensure proper filing records
• Support monthly closing activities and basic financial reports
• Maintain organized documentation for audit and internal review
• Coordinate with operations/procurement for purchase bills and approvals
Requirements
• 1–3 years UAE accounting experience (preferred)
• Practical experience in Zoho Books (required)
• Basic knowledge of UAE VAT and invoice compliance
• Good skills in MS Excel (pivot/lookup is a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (preferred)
• Good communication skills in English (Hindi/Malayalam/Arabic is a plus)
Preferred (Nice to Have)
• Experience in contracting/trading sector
• Knowledge of inventory, purchase orders, GRN processes
• Experience handling WPS support data (basic payroll coordination)
