About the Role
We’re looking for a talented Graphic Designer to join our team at our Advanced Manufacturing Facility in Ampthill, Bedfordshire.
This role benefits from our 4xFlex working pattern, offering a four-day working week (Monday–Thursday) alongside hybrid working. Onsite days are Monday and Tuesday, with Wednesday and Thursday worked from home, subject to business needs.
As our Graphic Designer, you’ll use your creative expertise across graphic design, photography, videography and multimedia content to deliver engaging visual communications, with a particular focus on social media and digital channels.
You’ll be a proactive self-starter and visual storyteller, able to collaborate effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to translate ideas into high-quality creative outputs.
Key Responsibilities
• Combine art and technology to create visually compelling designs that communicate ideas, information and brand vision
• Capture high-quality imagery and video using photography, videography and multimedia equipment
• Plan and produce video content, including storyboarding, scripting, filming, editing, music and visual effects
• Support visual communications for employee, programme, customer and community events, including branded deliverables and giveaways
• Develop, maintain and support the visual elements of print and digital publications
• Carry out quality assurance on all visual communications deliverables
• Ensure all creative outputs align with Lockheed Martin brand guidelines and line manager direction
• Coordinate with external vendors for printing, mounting and distribution of materials
• Maintain digital and print signage across the site
• Provide graphic support for web and digital artwork as required
• Support reproduction and printing processes using in-house resources or external suppliers

Required skills, qualifications and experience
• Proven experience in a B2B Graphic Design or Multimedia Design role
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud across graphic and visual media disciplines
• Experience using digital cameras for still and video capture
• Knowledge of studio and location lighting and audio
• Strong photography and video editing skills
• Ability to work confidently within company brand guidelines
• Ability to interpret creative briefs and translate direction into innovative design solutions
• Solid understanding of design fundamentals, including typography, composition, hierarchy and iconography
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Experience engaging with managers, peers and customers to build positive working relationships
• A portfolio is essential – please include a link in your CV or Cover Letter
