Electrical Engineer- Construction /Contracting Required

Designing, maintaining, implementing, or improving electrical instruments, facilities, components, equipment products, or systems for industrial, commercial, or domestic purposes.Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment.Conferring with customers, engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering products or projects.Ensuring that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications, technical drawings, or topographical maps.Establishing construction, manufacturing, or installation standards or specifications by performing a wide range of detailed calculations.Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities.Writing reports and compiling data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects and studies.Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.Supervising or training project team members.Estimating material, labor, or construction costs for budget preparation.Maintaining electrical equipment.Working with a variety of technicians. Possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, providing a strong foundation in electrical principles and design.Hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license or be actively pursuing licensure, demonstrating a commitment to professional excellence and ethical practice.Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering within the construction or contracting industry, showcasing practical application of knowledge.Demonstrate a solid understanding of electrical codes (e.g., NEC, IEC) and standards, ensuring compliance and safe installations.Exhibit proficiency in using relevant software and tools such as AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), and electrical design software, enhancing design and documentation capabilities.Possess strong project management skills, including the ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and critical thinking, addressing challenges and finding innovative solutions.Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.Possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to dynamic project environments and contributing to project success.Display a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to quality, ensuring projects meet the highest standards of excellence.
