As a Deputy Store Manager at Sports 21J25, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations and management of the store. Responsibilities
• Assist the Store Manager in all aspects of store operation and management.
• Supervise and lead the sales team to ensure high levels of customer service.
• Monitor sales targets and help devise strategies to achieve them consistently.
• Organize and oversee store inventory, including stock control and merchandising.
• Ensure the store complies with all health and safety regulations consistently.
• Implement promotional activities, ensuring displays are kept up-to-date and attractive.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional manner.
• Plan and execute training programs for staff to enhance service delivery skills.
• Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate store objectives and updates.
• Support recruitment, training, and development of new team members effectively.
• Oversee the maintenance of the store’s appearance to ensure cleanliness and orderliness.
• Provide reports to the Store Manager about sales performance and operational issues.

Requirements
• Proven experience in retail management or as an assistant manager in a retail environment.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with a positive attitude.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and capability to multitask effectively.
• Passion for sports and knowledge of sports equipment beneficial.
• High level of customer focus with a proven track record of customer service excellence.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with retail management software systems.
