Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and self-driven Power BI Analyst / Developer with 3–4 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and optimizing dashboards and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate should proactively conduct R&D on Power BI capabilities, explore new features, optimize performance, and recommend innovative analytics solutions aligned with business objectives.This role requires strong analytical thinking, data modeling expertise, and the ability to independently experiment, prototype, and improve BI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for business stakeholders.
• Perform proactive R&D on Power BI features, including new releases, visuals, performance optimization techniques, and integrations.
• Build and optimize data models, DAX measures, and Power Query transformations.
• Connect Power BI to multiple data sources (SQL, APIs, cloud platforms, Excel, etc.).
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, performance tuning, and scalability of reports.
• Develop reusable templates, best practices, and documentation.
• Translate business requirements into meaningful analytics and KPIs.
• Collaborate with business teams, IT, and data owners to improve reporting maturity.
• Automate refresh schedules, manage gateways, and apply security roles (RLS).
• Continuously suggest improvements and new use cases for analytics adoption.
Required Skills & Experience
• 3–4 years of hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and DAX.
• Strong experience in data modeling, ETL using Power Query, and performance tuning.
• Good understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience integrating data from multiple sources (on-prem and cloud).

• Proven ability to independently research, test, and implement new Power BI features.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-motivated and proactive mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Azure data services (Azure SQL, Data Factory, Synapse, Fabric).
• Knowledge of Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).
• Exposure to governance, security, and BI deployment best practices.
• Experience working in enterprise or consulting environments.
Eligibility
• Willingness to work onsite as RE (Resident Engineer) at Client Location in Abu Dhabi.
