Description

Position Purpose:

The role is responsible for promoting our products construction technologies across the sales territory.

The position supports customers by demonstrating technology solutions that enhance productivity, accuracy, safety, and efficiency across construction applications. The incumbent will work closely with sales teams, customers, and site personnel to ensure successful adoption and utilization of Caterpillar technology solutions.

Major/Key Accountabilities:
• Promote construction technology solutions to customers across the sales territory, supporting sales growth and market penetration.
• Conduct on-site demonstrations, trials, and customer presentations to showcase the value of machine control, productivity, safety, and equipment tracking technologies.
• Support customers during technology implementation and commissioning, ensuring correct system setup, calibration, and effective usage on construction sites.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Product Support, and Aftermarket teams to provide technical input during the sales process and post-sale support activities.
• Act as a technical advisor to customers, providing recommendations on technology solutions aligned with project requirements, production targets, and site conditions.
• Collect and analyze site performance and production data to demonstrate improvements in efficiency, accuracy, fuel consumption, and overall jobsite performance.
• Deliver training and coaching to customers’ operators and supervisors to ensure optimal adoption and long-term utilization of technology systems..
• Maintain healthy and good relationship with his co-workers, supervisors and customers.
• Review and discusses the environmental aspects and related actual or potential environmental impacts associated with the work.
• Contributes to the effectiveness of the Quality, Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety management system “QHSE”.

Performs any other related tasks as maybe required.

Skills

Educational Background:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in Civil Engineering preferred; other engineering disciplines may be considered based on relevant experience.

Experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience working on construction infrastructure projects such as roads, railways, and earthmoving applications

Experience at Supervisor level or above, with hands-on involvement in construction execution and site operations.

Skills, Knowledge & Ability:
• Strong knowledge of land surveying principles and techniques
• Preferred experience and knowledge in:
• Automated Grade Control systems
• Construction production monitoring processes
• Equipment tracking and telematics solutions
• Construction safety systems and technology features
• Ability to engage with customers, provide technical demonstrations, and support technology implementation on job sites
