Business Solutions Analyst - Initial 12 month contract, Inside IR35.
April Start Date and NPPV3 required (current, previously held, or ability to obtain).
The role will be predominantly remote but may require travel to Glasgow
Client-side | Policing & Public Sector Transformation.
We are building a pool of experienced Business Solutions Analysts to support a major policing transformation programme within the public sector.
This is a client-side, assurance-led role, working closely with senior stakeholders to shape requirements, support procurements, and assure third-party delivery, not a hands-on system build role.
The Role
You will work alongside programme and project teams to:
• Elicit, analyse and manage business and user requirements
• Facilitate high-quality workshops with operational, digital and external stakeholders
• Produce clear, auditable artefacts that support governance, procurement and design decisions
• Act as a trusted intermediary between business users, digital teams and suppliers
Work spans large, complex initiatives including cloud-based corporate systems and enterprise platforms.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and lead business engagement to gather and validate requirements
• Analyse current and future business processes, systems and services
• Develop and manage a unified statement of requirements aligned to strategic ICT plans
• Support the production of functional specifications and dependent technical documentation
• Contribute to project documentation, planning and governance activities
• Support procurement activity including RFIs, ITTs and evaluation material
• Work effectively across Waterfall, Agile and hybrid delivery environments
