ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking an accomplished, results-oriented Business Development/ Tech Sales Manager to lead growth and client acquisition initiatives across the MENA region. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in IT services sales, specifically custom software development, and demonstrate a consultative sales approach, high accountability, and a proven ability to generate USD 1M+ in annual receivables.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conduct market research to identify, qualify, and prioritize opportunities across UAE, KSA, Qatar, Egypt, and other key MENA territories.
• Develop and execute regional go-to-market plans aligned with organizational strategy.
• Engage C-level stakeholders across private and public sector clients with tailored software solutions.
• Own the complete sales cycle: prospecting, needs assessment, proposal creation, pricing, negotiation, and closure.
• Ensure compliance with local norms including language/localization, regulatory nuances, and proposal submission formats.
• Maintain a predictable sales pipeline and deliver accurate forecasting through CRM systems.
• Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events across the region.
• Coordinate closely with delivery, operations, and client success teams for project initiation and smooth handovers.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Minimum 8 years overall experience, including 5+ years in software services sales.
• Proven experience in consultative/solution-based selling across MENA markets.
• Arabic proficiency (preferred)/ not a must.
• Willingness to travel across the region (30–40% travel).
• Strong understanding of client buying behaviour in GCC.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
