We are looking for a proactive and experienced Business Development Manager to lead business development efforts in the logistics and freight forwarding sector, specifically across land and sea freight. The ideal candidate will bring a strong network, deep market knowledge, and a passion for delivering results through strategic sales initiatives and exceptional client management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement sales strategies focused on expanding the land and sea freight client base.
• Identify, approach, and secure new business opportunities to drive consistent revenue growth.
• Cultivate long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and prepare commercial proposals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high service standards and smooth execution of client requirements.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies as needed.
• Provide regular reporting on sales performance, pipeline status, and business opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Strong background in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain sales.
• The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years UAE experience.
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets and manage a client portfolio.
• Deep understanding of land and sea freight operations within the UAE and GCC region.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Self-driven with a strategic mindset and ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and standard office tools.
• UAE driving license is an advantage.
