Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Duties
• Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and reconciliations in accordance with organisational policies.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data is maintained across the organisation.
• Monitor cash flow and assist in cash management strategies.

Experience
• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role within a professional environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or equivalent platforms is essential.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general ledger management.
• Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards applicable within the UK.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in all work undertaken.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively across teams. This position is ideal for candidates who are organised, proactive, and eager to contribute their expertise in a dynamic environment.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
